Aseracare Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

Asera hospice care took care of my mom in her last couple months of life. It was so easy to get things started, they took on everything and tailored the care based on our wants, and mom’s needs. Mom developed a good relationship with her nurse Sherry, and was treated as if she were part of her family. I am thankful for the great care she received, and the friendship she developed. Aseracare hospice was absolutely amazing! This is the third Hospice company I have dealt with, and these guys are beyond the best. Becca was amazing. She went above and beyond listening to my concerns and even getting my grandma placed in their hospice care at Bryan west when I was uncomfortable with the nursing home, caring for her at the end. Their whole team was really great Jim. The social worker definitely went above and beyond listening to everything I was worried about and came up with lots Of different options for me when the nursing home wanted me to move her he went above and beyond to try different things so that would not happen so she would not be further away from me. I cannot say enough about this company all the nurses at Bryan West Staff and cleaning cleaning were all super friendly, helpful and compassionate. I 100% recommend these people.
We could not have been more pleased with the hospice care our mother received through AseraCare in Lincoln. The entire team had unending compassion for our mother that went completely beyond our expectations. My siblings and I are all medical providers and we were so thankful we chose AseraCare for hospice care for our mother. I interviewed 3 Hospice organizations on the phone. AseraCare took the time to answer all my questions/concerns in a kind, compassionate manner. They really listened! My mother-in-law was in a nursing facility and she commented every time an AseraCare person interacted with her. She knew them by name. They truly cared, listened and made her more comfortable in her final days. We live in CO and greatly appreciated their frequent communications giving us updates on her condition. Their care and compassion did not end with the death of my mother-in-law. They continue to support us in our grief journey with their wonderful Bereavement Program. These are really gifted, heartfelt people and I wish there was a 10 star rating. Highly, highly recommend them!
