Elara Caring is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Plainfield, Indiana and surrounding areas. Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

My grandma is with this company. The OT, PT & nurse that came out were absolutely wonderful! They answered questions and worked well with her even when she was mean and surly to them. I am giving a 2 star because the social worker Jessica is not good returning calls. This is a new situation and I am trying to do the best I can while learning. When I was told I'd be called, I was not EVEN when I asked Lauren (OT) & Carol (Nurse) to help get a hold of her. If I could split the review, Paul (PT), Lauren & Carol would get 7 stars!
We were fortunate to be blessed with the introduction of this company into our lives for the care of my father. Our team was based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. We cannot say enough about the outstanding care they provided. Always punctual and professional along with providing genuine, compassionate and personalized care! Our team provided updates to family members who were not present during their visit via phone calls. This was so comforting knowing that they felt so compassionate about their work and made sure that other family members were kept updated. Elara Caring Hospice team of Indianapolis, Indiana, team of Dr. Black, nurse Kristin, aide Hannah, and Social Worker Jason, along with after hours care by nurse Jon, you all are top-notch! May you always keep your love and compassion for your jobs. It truly shows in the care you provided!
