We were referred by a Physician to RiverCross Hospice Care for my husband in his final days in 2019. The household was chaotic as I had to have spinal fusion surgery urgently. The RiverCross staff took care of so much on the home front. They brought in a hospital bed, supplied equipment of every kind, cleaned, did kitchen duty, laundry, and considered all our house hold needs. They never let Jim remain in pain. Rather, they made sure he had the medication needed 24/7. Over time, a lovely worker formed a bond with Jim. She actually had him up performing ADL and taking showers with her help! Their Chaplain visited to make sure we were ready for Jim’s transition. They became family to us!
I should never have delayed so long in giving this Review. But I have required much medical care since then, and quite frankly was grief stricken after Jim’s passing. My grief has now eased and we are moving forward once again. All I can say is Thank you. We have never forgotten the love and care you showed Jim and our household.
From the first contact with Rivercross Hospice , we knew we were in the right hands as we navigated the final days with my brother. Their care was compassionate, expeditious and thorough. Every staff member we came into contact with was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Their provision of education materials, supplies and compassionate staff made his transition as comfortable as possible and we could not have asked for a more compassionate and loving experience. On behalf of the family of John C. 1973-2022
Rivercross took such good care of our dear dad and family. We loved the caseworker, nurses, Chaplin, and Rachel! They felt like part of the family. I highly recommend Rivercross Hospice.
We transitioned from another company to river Cross for my grandma about 3yr ago. It was the best move we could have made for my grandmother. They have been absolutely amazing. They truly do go above and beyond for their clients and families. For my grandma and they are more then just staff they are like family and friends. As my grandma prepares to pass I look back at every one of the staff we have had and would be honor to have any or all of them to care for me. An amazing, loving group of people and they will be greatly missed. They made many unbearable days bearable just by their kindness, smiles and hugs.
My Mother received Wonderful care from RiverCross. After she passed away, they continued to send messages of love and encouragement during the grieving process.
