My brother was in Life Care of Hickory Woods in Antioch for physical therapy after a long illness and I just have to give praise when and where it's due. First thoughts upon walking in the front doors "impressive", well maintained, nicely decorated and smells nice...ok!!! There was a really nice dining room where he, he's family and friends could eat together. Final touch, I could code in any hour of the day or night that I wanted to go, that is transparency to me.👍 Now, let's talk about what's most important here, Patient Care by Qualified staff. This facility is filled with some of the most talented, caring staff you can find. Therapist Chris & Josh were top notch in getting him back mobile to come home. They understood our objective of navigating steps at home, strengthening his arms to use handrails and getting in and out of the car (we like to go). The CNA's were very compassionate. Rosetta, Vanessa, Carol, Francis, Christine, and Isaac were very nice and always came in with a smile. All nurses on 200 hall were super nice to not only him, but his wife and myself. Even Herbert in transport was so nice and a pleasure taking him to appointments. We were given business cards to contact the head in every department. Marcia, (resident care) was my rock while navigate through this. Toni (social services) was steps ahead of me for getting everything ready to come home. If we ever have a need for therapy/recovery again, this will definitely be my place to go.

Everyone that I have had contact with at this point is extremely helpful and friendly. Really appreciate the care and attention they provide to the patients. The facility Is really impressive. The rooms are spacious, not small so the person can move around without bumping into things. The entire place looks really great, dining room, lounge areas, bathrooms all very clean. It's so great to have a facility that caŕe for elderly people ,to take pride in providing this of level of service. Thank you for your support service and understanding . When you have a love one that is no longer able to do the things that they are accustomed to doing ,it is an adjustment for them as well as the family. Your facility is is extremely important to all having to deal and adjust to the changes.

My grandmother was at this place for about 3 weeks. I highly recommend bringing your loved ones here. While she was there she would say how good the food was and how nice everyone was. Anytime we had questions Stephanie was always helpful and nice to us. Barbara was one of my grandmothers nurse and she was super sweet with her pink bow. Thank you all for getting her better and back home to us.

My husband has been at Life Care Center of Hickory Woods for over 2 weeks. He was transferred to this facility after an illness and needed rehabilitation for strengthening his body. After careful reviews, I felt comfortable with him being placed at this facility. My first impression of LCC of Hickory Woods– What a beautiful place and very well-maintained. It had such a warm and inviting atmosphere when I arrived on a rainy and stormy Friday night. My emotions were high when I met with LaShaundra in Admissions because I didn’t know what to expect. She really made me feel comfortable and eased my concerns and doubts about my husband’s admission. This was a new experience for us, and it turned out to be a great facility for his recovery. During his placement at LCC of Hickory Woods the last two weeks have been nothing but high praises. The staff in Physical and Occupational therapy understood our concerns about his care and the steps to get him mobile to come home and they truly delivered. One thing for sure, they are a very qualified and dedicated team that goes above and beyond. They are truly compassionate about their jobs, which makes a positive difference. Marcia - Resident Care Coordinator is a dedicated team member. She stopped by his room to make sure everything was comfortable for him after his transport from the Centennial Medial Center to their facility that night. Thanks for support! Thanks to all the nurses and Care Techs in Hall 300 for being very compassionate and supportive during the process of his recovery. They always greeted you with a smile and treated us more like family. A smile goes a long way! We would like to send a special thank you to his daytime Nurse, Nakeya for your exceptional service from day one. Your impact will always be remembered with gratitude. Life Care Center of Hickory Woods is a safe environment for your loved ones. The staff are more than caregivers – they are companions, advocates, and a source of comfort. Thank you all for your kindness, patience and dignity you show every day. Your care makes a world of difference, and we are deeply grateful for the love you give. Shirley and Lamont 11/24/25

I’m so amazed at the turnaround time of the health improvement of my great Aunt at the age of 91. The staff from day one was so supportive and helpful in the process of her recovery. I’m so thankful this team’s organization has made life easier for understanding that transition is coming for everyone but compassion for the elderly is a vital element of their success story. God bless the staff at the Life Care Center of Hickory Woods for using their expertise in this healthcare system.
