Mercer Health center is a wonderful facility. My uncle has been there for A little over a year, and they have been wonderful with him from the director all the way down to cleaning staff. The doctors, nurses activities, business office case managers, social workers, dietary therapy, and cleaning staff all know my uncle personally ain’t treat him like he is their family if anything I ever needed or question about they’re always there to help me understand or figure it out. I have no worries, knowing that he is safe, healthy, and gets to do many things as a patient with activities. The director is always available to speak to me. I am one grateful niece for going above and beyond for my uncle.

My wife’s uncle has been at Mercer Healthcare for a while now and the staff there is so reliable and dedicated to their jobs. They are always contacting her if there is ever any issues with their our family resident. The staff is polite and show compassionate care for their residents. I would recommend this facility for anyone looking for a great place to care for their loved ones.

Being a dialysis patient I have my good days and bad days. Luckily the staff are on their toes the whole time. PT has been amazing. Coming to my room for bed exercise when I'm having a bad day, no energy, unable to walk any further then the bathroom in the room. Only downside is I was promised a private room, once I actually was able to move in, another patient had to take it. Food is decent. Activities are fun. I enjoy the courtyard more then I'd like to admit. The sun is my friend. I love that they send a paper to each of us in the morning of the days activities and what's for lunch and dinner, with an activity on the back. I may not do all activities, but the ones I'm interested in I let them know and ask questions if I have any. The housekeeping staff is great! Good conversation while detail cleaning (even behind the wardrobe). Nursing staff, Drs, and administration have all been great! Everyone coming in to introduce themselves. Getting to know the staff was who to ask what when I have a question is very important to me. My family is able to visit when they want. I can go out with one on one time with them if needed. My first week my mom left for a 2 week vacation. So our one on one time before she left was very important. Staff was great about it. I know I'm not the "normal" patient here, but everyone had been amazing.

I was a resident at Mercer nursing home. The CNAs would leave me laying in diarrhea coming out of my brief and into my shorts for an hour or more. When I brought it up to the administrator she would always coverup what I told her she would have other CNAs do written statements saying I was lying. And when I would try to talk to my case worker about it she would always follow suit of what the administrator told her to do. There is basically no one there that is for the patients voice not even the case worker who by the way is messing with the maintenance man. How do I know? Because the CNAs and nurses talked about it all the time.Ombudsman would come in and the administrator and the caseworker would tell her I was lying just look at all this documentation from CNAs saying she’s lying. The CNAs are hateful and demeaning to the residents. You couldn’t even tell the nurses on duty what was going on because they didn’t even care. And if anything happened on the weekend you were just SOL till Monday to try and talk to anybody because the administrator told me coming at night time or on the weekends was not an option. I had to leave and go to another facility to get out of the neglect and abuse!!

I don't even want to give them one star but I have to in order to leave a review. This place was the farthest thing from professional and caring. It's like an assembly line as long as there money is good they are at least fed. But these employees are there for a paycheck and don't have any care about ur loved ones mental well being or health or dignity. My mother was there for years I'm embarrassed to admit..She died unexpectedly and the staff treated our family like punks and threw all my mother's things away about an hour after she died. No remorse. No sorry. They moved a man into my mother's room after she had only been there 10 minutes. Do not take ur loved ones there
