My father went to Pine Meadows for rehab after a 71 day hospitalization at 85 years old. They were great. He went from not being able to take a step on the first day of rehab after laying in a hospital bed for so long to walking with a cane 34 days later. Dad was able to come home and is still improving each day and we owe a huge part of it to Pine Meadows. The staff loved and cared for him like he was family! The first photo is from week 1 of rehab and the second and third are from last week when he went back to visit about a week after discharge.
My sister was transferred to Pine Meadows after being in another facility for over a year. She was scared and overwhelmed upon arrival. What I will always remember and what touched me the most was how Samantha and the entire staff at Pine Meadows welcomed her with such patience, kindness and compassion. They went way above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. I knew at that moment she had found her home. Samantha is a true gem, What truly impressed me was her genuine concern for my sister's comfort. My sister's bed was not meeting her needs. Upon learning of my sister's discomfort, she immediately acted to make her life better. Samantha took the initiative to research and order a new, specialized bed to ensure she could rest comfortably. This single action speaks volumes about their dedication and the personal level of care they provide. I am truly grateful to the entire staff for their hard work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and attentive environment for their loved one.
Pine Meadows is a hidden gem in the heart of Bolivar and I am so glad we found it! It is the ABSOLUTE BEST Nursing facility and I feel so at peace having my loved one there! The staff is INCREDIBLE, they communicate well, take excellent care of the residents, and truly love what they do. The facility is always clean and the food is delicious. I highly highly recommend it!!
I used to live there I had to file a complaint against one of the CNAs for being excessive most of the staff is excellent some don't need to be in there the first night I was there there was spiders crawling out of the air vents there's one particular nurse her name is Carrie and she's awesome and she holds the place together she's the only reason I would recommend anybody to go there the food is less than mediocre the therapy team is a Solid 5 out of 10 the upper management staff well let's just say those Smiles that they greet you with are paid for there are some CNAs there let go above and beyond what they're supposed to and then there's a few there that don't need to be there that don't need to be CNAs some are unskilled I had a problem with one putting their bare hands in my food instead of chopping it up with the fork and knife they use their bare hands to tear it apart I requested a new plate several times but if I could give this place a zero star rating I would
The only nursing home that I really can't say anything bad about. My grandmother was here and she actually loved the staff as well as all the rehab she received while there. My dad was there and, he didn't like it, but his mind wasn't all there. We knew better - and we knew the staff actually take time to care for the people here instead of just treating them all like a number. I would recommend this nursing home for anyone that needs care.
