My sister has been at Songbird Lodge since 4/13/2019. I am very pleased with the compassion and caring of the staff at Songbird Lodge. The staff has also helped me whenever I have a concern. I brought her to Songbird from a terrible nursing home. She has blossomed since she has been there both physically and emotionally. She loves everyone there as I do. The staff meets with the family and the patient to access her needs and they keep me informed. She says the food is "beautiful". The presentation is outstanding and delicious. Her room is kept very clean. And her hygiene needs are met. I am now a volunteer for the secure unit where my sister is. The staff has become family for me and my sister. We are blessed. I highly recommend Songbird.
Songbird Lodge is dear to my heart. The staff is so friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. I love how the patient are so well tended too and have the biggest smiles on their faces. Songbird makes everyone feel like family and makes everyone feel at home. I could go on and on about all their staff. They are truly a wonderful facility to visit.
After a stay in a hospital in Ft Worth I was tasked with placing my Mother in a Skilled Nursing Facility for rehab and recovery. At my request a friend checked out a few of the Places in town and I settled on Songbird Lodge for her 30 days. I can't say that the Staff and I started off great, but after a few conversations about my mothers specific needs and care, we have made a great turn and she has had an excellent recovery process since. As with anything of this Nature, communication is key and the staff at Songbird are more than willing to have those talks. The Nursing Staff as well as the nurses Aids go above and beyond to make the residents feel secure and cared about. And the physical therapy team are second to none. The time with the PT team has become a highlight of my mothers day. And once we got her meal plan right the food has been very good as well. All in all if you need a Facility like this one... this is a good one!
Everyone has been very nice and caring. My wife and I are very happy with the care given to my father-in-law. Room is kept clean and they check on him regularly. Kori Howard has done an outstanding job keeping us updated on how he’s doing.
