Facility was very clean and the rooms are nice. Food is never followed to order though. nothing on my grandmas meal ticket was correct to what she had ordered. They were very nice and quickly gave her pain medication when she asked so that was appreciated.

While the facility itself is attractive and clean I was deeply disappointed with the majority of staff. Please read the reviews under “Indeed” which are written by employees, where one reports they are underpaid and understaffed—that basically sums it up—and it shows. Worst of all someone said they treat the residents poorly. That was our experience. There is a woman acting as “receptionist” during business hours who is very cold and very rude. Unfriendly and hostile and acts as though she is bothered by the incoming calls. Experienced that with every single call. She clearly hates her job and it shows. Whoever hired her obviously thinks this person is a good front office/first impression person and that is concerning in and of itself. They themselves are either clueless or they approve of such behavior. It goes downhill from there. My relative was at this facility for a few weeks and I visited every single day so I saw and experienced many different “nurses”. I don’t think there was one that was friendly or helpful. Most acted tired, annoyed and bothered to be there and one actually bragged to me with a sneer that the patients there cry in her presence and refer to her as “mean”.. She wears that status like a badge of honor. I was appalled but let her continue. She is bitter and hostile and has no business pretending to be a caregiver. If you go to the facility in the evening you will find either no one to talk to, or a person that makes it clear you are interrupting their reading or phone time. And this is while nurse call buttons are lit up and virtually ignored. There is also at least one night time “nurse” that appears to be either mentally disturbed or under the influence. I would visit and leave every single time unhappy with the staff, worried for the patients, and plain saddened that many people unknowingly entrust their elderly/vulnerable family member to various forms of hostility and/or sheer apathy. I was hoping this facility would send a survey to us at the end of the stay so that we could privately let them know our experience. Apparently they do not have such a thing and that alone is very telling, It seems they simply do not care. Note: This is not a review of professionals like PT,, RNs or MDs. We were satisfied with them.

Overall, from what I have heard, probably the best in the area, but room for improvement. Very clean, bright, cheery. Food looked good. Now for the not so good. Wife was there for a month, overall care was ok. Of the 4 RN'S that I had the most interaction with,I would have fired 3 of them. One a poor attitude, another that spent too much time staring at his phone, and the other not being aware about his patients individual situations. CNA'S for the most part were very attentive and caring. One in particular,Tish, was heads above the others. Some would come in with the lunch tray and put it down on the bedside table and not bother about uncovering food, opening milk carton, etc. Tish made sure everything was ready for the patient before leaving. Another problem was lack of communication amongst people on the same shift let alone between shifts.

We work closely with The head of physical therapy, while doing so we have encountered many patients there and they seem to really like this facility! It is beautiful and appears to run smoothly. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is clean and well directed.
