Outstanding care and compassion here - my family member was consistently supported and taken care of with capable and caring staff. I can highly recommend Peak Resources Charlotte for your loved one. The 'can do' culture is outstanding by all teammates there and you can feel the many ways they integrate your loved one into daily activities and rehab. We felt like family here and that meant more than words can say.
Mother concluded her second stay at Peak Resources on Central Avenue, Charlotte. Repeat customers are the best way to measure satisfaction. Since I previously posted my review I am not allowed to post my second. No place is perfect but Peak Resources is by far the best rehabilitation center we have experienced. They will remain our first call when our need arises. Thank you Audrey Bass who greets everyone with a smile as you enter to Alisa BSW social worker. Entire staff focused on positive patient interaction and care. Please continue to read my previous review below. Mother is now 93 and doing fine. Peak Resources on Central Ave, Charlotte - is the best Rehabilitation/Short-Long term facility we have experienced. Having had family members in 9 different facilities over the past 8 years within the southeast Charlotte area is how I am qualified to base my opinion. Amanda Pack and her entire staff understand their patients are why they are employed and exhibit qualifications and passion focused on continuous improvement and learning to improve patient care. A friend recommended Peak Resources that cared for her husband and we are so thankful she did. Standards of excellence are displayed as you drive into their parking lot. Cleanliness and safety are important to us and achieved by clear leadership from Amanda Pack and embraced by every staff member. Cynthia - nursing staff manager provides clear direction and follow up. Cynthia is hands on care. Pride in patient care and safety. David in records / Ashley and Amy Gilliland help navigate billing process understanding and clarity. Medication techs / CNA’s / Social Worker / Meal Assistance and preparation / Cleaning staff and maintenance services all put patients first. Facility is very nice but staff is why I state: this is the best place for your family member to be should they need this kind of care. Thank God we discovered Peak Resources - we pray daily - asking God to watch over this team of dedicated professionals. Sincerely, Sonnie and Patricia McRae
I have a loved one in Peak Resources and I’m glad I chose this facility for them. Everyone with whom I’ve come into contact with while visiting my loved one, has a caring demeanor. This facility is clean! The staff is nice and welcoming. There are activities to keep the residents engaged, the nursing staff and the activities personnel conduct regular/quarterly check-ins to keep me updated regarding my my loved ones care and to see if I have any questions or concerns. I am especially grateful to the Director of Nursing, Cynthia Hall! Cynthia is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable when it comes to her craft as the DON at Peak. May GOD bless the staff at Peak Resources for all they do for their residents 🙏🏽.
My father, senior citizen, was at Peak for short term rehab since he required physical therapy (PT, OT, etc.). While on the outward appearance, Peake looks okay, the lack of attention to residents is a major issue for me as a caregiver. Peak is understaffed so bells are always ringing. When I walked down the hallways, residents were begging me to either come in to help them or get them some help. I didn't see the nurse on duty get up to answer requests for help. I only ever saw one (1) Tech/Assistant on duty at a time over the 5 weeks or so that he was there. The same Tech had to go get the tray rack and pass out the trays, etc. Plus there were multiple hallways of rooms for rehab to cover. My father is a very social person but given the attitude of the staff which was a turnoff, he didn't want to do any social activities. There was also a discrepancy with medication written during discharge process post rehab when he was moved to his a new home. Do not send a loved one to Peak if your loved one is a fall risk and can't take care of him or herself. This is not the place for residents who need help. There was only one therapist who was caring and concerned... she was great. In general though, I was not impressed with the rehab room nor what the staff had him doing to improve his mobility.
Hi So happy we found Peak Resources for mother. Attentive staff. Good nutritious meals. Clean facility. Friendly, knowledgeable caregivers. Amanda Pack is professional and proud of her staff of dedicated caregivers. Visit to see for yourself. Patty
