My mom lives at The Glade and she really likes it. She has lived there for over 2 years. They have went above and beyond for her. They are always accommodating to your needs. The building is secure. If you are unable to go to the dinner, you can have your meals delivered to you. They have someone that cleans the apartments. My mom’s refrigerator went bad and they replaced it that day. My mom has made some very nice friends as well. It’s been really good for her. My dad was in Traditions prior to his passing, so that made it nice as well. I highly recommend.
My parents moved to the Glade 3 years ago. They chose to live in a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment. They always felt safe, cared for, and happy to be there. They made friends and found a real sense of community! The staff is amazing and very helpful! My dad’s health went downhill and after a hospital stay was moved to the Shaffer building for skilled nursing care until his passing. The nurses and the aids were very kind and concerned. The food there was not great. We were not a fan of shared rooms and would have preferred private accommodations. Again the best part of the his stay at Honey Creek was the people! Everyone worked hard to meet my dad’s needs and care for us too. My mom continues to live in her beautiful apartment and has a great group of friends! The staff continues to work hard at making life at The Glade good for their residents. We think that we made a great choice when looking for independent living in Chillicothe, Ohio.
I just moved my father into the Independent Living and we are very happy with the apartment and facilities as a whole. The facilities are well kept inside and outside. The staff are kind, considerate, and very helpful. My father had lived in his home for nearly 60 years so this was a big life change for him and taking into consideration everything about the campus and the services available to him, the experience has been much better than anticipated and the transition has went smoothly. Thank you to all the staff we've had the pleasure to meet.
The Glades is a beautiful, well-maintained independent living facility. My father still lives there after my mother passed, and he’s in great hands. The staff are attentive, compassionate, and always willing to help—even with things like TV remotes or checking on him if he missed dinner. Truly above and beyond, it is a real community. I rest easier knowing he’s there.
Our Mom has been at Traditions in Chillicothe for several years now and has enjoyed it. She was in independent living first and got along great. Enjoyed the people and the food and activities. She got cancer and had to go to rehab and then we moved her to assisted living where she is now. The nurses and aides there are so kind and sweet to her and so very helpful. So happy to have her in a place that cares!!!
