Pikes Peak Post Acute, has been one blessing after another starting with the admissions process. Niki, the admissions director, has been a tremendous blessing ensuring that my husband’s residency would go well, and following his post acute phase, she continued helping process his long term residency. She has a heart for people and this was calming at such a difficult transition. Thank you Niki for caring and making a difference in our lives. Now, I want to reference the 800 Hall where my husband received his post acute rehab. This review is solely referring to staff employees not Agency fill ins. The 800 hall has a great nursing team, they work as a unit to make the hall run smoothly. Is it perfect, not always, but there are a number of the team that excel in their positions and I wish to acknowledge them for their excellent performances. I will reference one on call nurse, and her assigned CNA from the morning shift, and then one from the night shift. First mention is Diane, she takes skilled nursing and makes it look effortless, very detailed and present every time she enters the room, it is a pleasure to learn from her and watch her work. The CNA for the morning shift, won my confidence the very first day my husband arrived at the facility. I began to explain to her that my husband had a subluxation in his left shoulder and that you can’t pull on his arm or hand to turn him, but turns must be done from behind the shoulder for safety, almost before I got it out, she said confidently, “honey, we don’t ever pull arms and hands around here,” and she went into motion, she moved my husband around like she was a trained therapist, and in that moment she gained my trust and my respect. This young lady works hard, and it’s all from the heart. My daughter labeled Amanda as the GOAT, and I wholeheartedly agree, that’s my girl! The night shift mention’s would have to be Kathy, not only is she skilled at her job but she exudes empathy and compassion from a loving heart. I love her spirit. And last but not least, the night shift CNA mention is Natasha, she comes into the room every shift without fail, with the biggest beautiful smile ever, so friendly and engaging. And detailed to every function of her job to the letter. It is such a pleasure to know that the patients are going to get the best of care in their very capable hands. Thank you ladies for caring for my husband, you are all easy to love. I thank the entire team of this rehab unit they work efficiently to make the hall run smooth, thank you for a great experience during a very difficult and trying time. And last, but not least, a huge thanks to the therapy team, they work hard to enhance my husband’s ability to function in life moving forward. Thank you all for the encouragement and your dedication to serving the patient community.

I’m proud to be a member of the therapy team here at Pikes Peak Post Acute. Without a doubt, every person on our team cares deeply about each and every resident in this building. We know them well, treat them like family, and advocate for their needs in every way we can. Our nursing staff and CNAs are incredible as well. I can always count on walking down certain halls and seeing the same familiar CNA faces—consistent staffing has allowed them to build strong relationships and truly get to know each resident. The collaboration between therapy, nursing, and CNA teams is amazing; we’re constantly sharing feedback that helps improve therapy outcomes, whether it’s about wheelchair fit, transfer safety, or bed mobility. This facility has grown and improved so much during my time here, and I’m truly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate team at Pikes Peak Post Acute.

This review is going to be raw and true. My Ma was at a different nursing home when I found out she has been violated. I worked with the hospice my Ma was under and found this place. When I walked in it was busy and smelled like pee. My Ma took her last breath in this facility where she received the care you would expect. The nurses communicated with me, front staff was kind as the business office helped when needed. I have learned you don’t go off smells or a hall not looking up to par when you have the care that is the priority. Thank you to everyone who helped and took care of my Ma especially after a horrific traumatizing place prior.

I just have to say the Pikes Peak Post Acute on Union Boulevard, just amazing. when we decided to put my mom in a nursing home we were really scared to death the kind of care she would get. she was there for a year and a half in the memory care unit "the 700 Hall"❤️ they have been the most incredibly caring helpful wonderful CNAs and nurses ever. they loved my mom and they treated her so well. they called her mama and even at the end the management staff were so wonderful. they made everything so great for us at the end. they were so accommodating and comforting and I can't say enough about Pikes Peak Post Acute for anyone worried about putting your family member somewhere I can tell you this is your best bet thank you so much again and again for all your wonderful care for my mom, you were all amazing!!!!!❤️💜 And a shout out to their new hospice unit. Very nice and very caring CNAs.
