My father-n-law came all the way from Florida to be with the Hennis family & that's exactly how we all felt like family. The Hennis family not only cared for him they loved him. We could feel that at our visits. So helpful any time we needed anything. Thank you so much Hennis family I wish I could give you 10 stars
The staff are so helpful. Anytime I call to check in with a resident Lisa at the front desk and Wendy in admissions are always there to help. They are so professional and just amazing! Thanks again!!
Showed up visit my father who was there one month. We were shuffled out of the room so it could be disinfected. My father was out in a wheelchair and we went to the family room. After an hour we asked if the room is finished being disinfected...we were told it would be another hour. My father was very uncomfortable in the wheelchair and needed to use the restroom. Because his room was not ready he was taken to the restroom in the hallway. Because he could not stand, he was told to use the bathroom in his diaper! He was very upset and we returned to the family room. He really had to use restroom and was uncomfortable, so he asked me to go and see if the room was ready. It was not. A nurse, Amy, asked if there was something that I needed outside his room. I told her he needed to use the restroom and he was very uncomfortable...Amy was very curt with me and told me that we would have to wait until the room was ready. If we knew how long the wait was going to be we would have had expected it. Nurse Amy raised her voice to me and I asked her not to raise her voice to me. She insisted that that was her regular speaking voice. She was yelling. It was absolutely ridiculous! I asked her to lower her voice and speak to me like normal person. She continued to be very loud and disrespectful. She said she was talking loud because I was wearing a mask over my face which made no sense Another 30-40 minutes passed before his room was ready. Once we got back into the room we waited another 10-15 minutes before someone came in to put him back in the bed. I know working in a nursing home is not the most enjoyable job however I think that patients should be treated with a lot more respect. If this place was trying to impress the family, then they failed. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Needs help, not the staffs fault they are understaffed. Good employees really seem to care about the patients- well atleast most of them. We loved Most all staff. Both my parents had both good and bad to say. Dana(RN was the best!) Owners should pay more to keep good staff. One of my parents passed due to a fall and had they been properly staffed he could possibly still be with us today. Only reason I’m giving this many stars are for the ppl who are at ground zero with the patients day in and day out. They need more pay & more help.
Poor customer service. Nurses not professional. Have promised to have the social worker call me 3 times and still waiting. I wouldn’t rehab my dog here. Well she got the largest decubitus ulcer l have seen then got septic and died.
