I had been in the hospital and could not go home until I had some PT. I had a very good experience with the PT staff at this facility and they care about you as a whole person. The nursing home itself provided decent food and a list of activities that were varied. Nights were sometimes difficult due to other patients in the facility due to the sundowning of dementia patients. I am glad that I was able to use the bathroom unaided as the staff are always busy with the bedridden residents. I had the feeling that they were understaffed and were doing the best they could. However, when I really needed them they were there. Thank you!
If you want your loved one to be at a nursing home where they truly care… Glasgow Hills is it. The staff there are some of the best people in healthcare I have ever met. They know their patients extremely well and I’m not just talking about their medical chart. They know their personalities, their quirks, and even their faults. And they do the very best job, taking All those things into account when they are taking care of them. There are some residents who just don’t have anybody or don’t have a lot of money. Staff members will go into their own pocket! Just to treat the patients to a soda, a new activity, new clothes etc. The head of nursing, and the administrator are always willing to take time with the patients and their families . They truly care about their residents and it shows. Right down to the details. Heck, it even smells good when you walk in the door. How many times can say that about a nursing.home?!
I want to give a huge thanks to the therapy department!! They were absolutely fantastic with my family member and made us feel so welcome. They made it seem as if we were all a big family as if we’ve known them our whole lives. Truly showed us a lot of love and genuine care.
My dad 91 years old was sent to this facility for rehabilitation. It turns out that my dad has dementia. My dad is with other residents that shares what he has. The facility is taking such good care of dad. I can tell that the nurses and aides cares very much for dad. Dad likes it there too even though he is not sure where he is. I feel good leaving dad there. I only want the best for him because he is my dad and I know that I can’t take care of him myself
My dad was a patient there for approximately two months. He received good care while he was there. I was very pleased with the staff. The Assistant Director of Nursing, the Director of Nursing, the Physicians Assistant, the nurses, physical therapy and all the supporting staff were all very kind to me and my dad. Thank you for everything and the care and love you showed my dad,
