HARRAH NURSING CENTER

Harrah Nursing Center in Oklahoma is trash, please do not send your loved ones here. My grandmother is currently a resident and I have had some horrible experiences over the past few years. If I could I would remove her but unfortunately I am not her guardian. I would not give a star rating at all but this was the only way to post. The issues I have had are mainly with the evening shift making it almost impossible to phone my grandmother. If they answer the phone and remember that you are on hold or even have the decency to ask you to hold an after waiting for extended periods of time or having to call back repeatedly an getting hung up on. I have been given every excuse, inappropriate remarks have been made, I have been threatened, staff has laughed and joked and caused family issues and the tone of voice used is awful. When I do get to speak to my grandmother I don't even get to say bye, I will call back until someone answers an I am given more excuses. This is extremely upsetting and very unprofessional. On holidays I have tried to get through all evening with no success, it has all been exhausting. When the staff says that they will have my granny call me back I will try and make sure that they have my number and once I give it to them they just hang up. I will call back and ask that they read the number to make sure they got it right because there have been times where I haven't herd from her and they refuse and say that I am harassing them. When I have tried to express my feelings to the evening supervisor she wont even let me talk and speaks over me, then hangs up in my face. All of this has resulted in my visitations being terminated. Mind you I am the only family member that visited my granny regularly and brought treats for the residents an staff. I have also brought a vast amount of books for my granny to share with the nursing centers library. I have spoken with the social worker along with the head of nursing and nothing has changed. Do better, I am posting this on Facebook and every where else I see fit.

My father resides in the center's Memory Loss Unit and I could not be more pleased. The staff of doctors, nurses, aides, social workers and coordinators are all caring, informative and knowledgeable. Thanks for all you do Harrah Nursing Center!

This is a great nursing home. They really seem to care about the residents. The residents are always smiling and the are always kept occupied with awesome projects. Their rooms are clean an the call lights are promptly answered.

Just have to give a big shout out!Harrah nursing home has awesome caretakers.my grandmother is in the nursing home now.I have to say the care has been amazing the aids to the nurses and also the cleanliness is so much better than it used to be I am proud of the Harrah nursing home for the care that they give.
