Everyone has been so supportive and kind towards my sister in the memory care unit. They are knowledgeable about the disease she and everyone else in the unit suffers from and each time I leave after visiting I know they are in excellent care. The food looks great, they even get a choice of what they want to eat. To hear from my sisters mouth that she likes it there is all that needs to be said.

I was looking for a long-term care center for my sister and found Life Care Center. I called AND talked to Cindy Martin in Admissions. She is an absolute loving and caring woman. I went there and went on a tour of the facility. It is very clean with no smells. She explained about all the activities they have for the patients and a Dr on staff and other physicians too. Cindy helped me with the admission process and I moved my sister in on the 14th. I went to visit her today and she said she likes it there. All the staff I have dealt with have been friendly and helpful with any questions I have had. I've also had friends tell me about the expert care their family member had received from the rehabilitation area. If you need a place for yourself or a loved one....check out Life Care Center, you will be glad you did. They also serve ice cream every day at 2:00.

This place has gone to crap since the new administrator Eloise move into office here. She's firing people left and right. People quitting because of her. She thinks the place is better since she's been there . What a joke hahaha. Watch out for assistant office manager and receptionist they are brown nosers and make it their business to get people fired. Nosey and miserable in their shoes. The laundry dept has gone to hell 3 carts of unclaimed clothes and is out of control. Can't understand why the clothes are not being labeled. I'm surprised the owner allows that. He never use too. Hopefully they get a new administrator before the place gets closed down. I speak the truth about all this . As for the care for the residents it's 50/50 . Just pay attention to what your love ones tell you.

My wife recently had a stroke, and we spent two weeks in Ocala hospital after surgery. We were recommended to Life Care Center for it's rehabilitation therapy. So far we've been impressed with the therapists (especially physical therapist Cynthia, speech therapist Mel), and the professionalism and kindness of the nurses & the CNAs especially Kris very refreshing. We are extremely well pleased with my wife's progress.
