This place is a poor excuse for a Nursing home! I was afraid to leave My review until My Dad was out of there. apparently the staff likes to hold it against You for needing help to a bathroom or any other Human right. And the sad thing is He wouldn't have needed help if they would have put a toliet riser on His toliet. If you push the help button You can count on it taking them atleast 2 hours. Especially if you're room number is in the 200s! Because that means that Your last in line for everything. Over My dead body My Dad will ever go back there! Oh and that place smells awful they try to say it isn't them it's because there's 2 plants on either side but outside the place doesn't stink. Just the inside. Plus Air conditioning is out and been out for a long time.
The facility is very clean and well cared for. All the staff, from the CNA's to the Therapists are skilled and caring. My mother was there multiple times for physical/occupational therapy and she was cared for very well. Best facility she was ever in!
Very good nursing home, a sparkle of light in a pretty murky nursing home climate in Lexington. Solid reports during handoff, clean facility (doesn't have The Smell), polite professional and helpful nurses, and patients are often excited to return here. Would feel safe with my loved one here.
Place is a Joke I wouldn’t leave my Dog here! The bedrooms are 100° degrees because the air doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for 6 mo, So I was told, they stink so Bad, The beds look like a Pitbull has been chewing on them They’re so tore up. The floors are disgusting with bloody gauze, laying all over the place, even in the hallways, The patients are walking around unattended and half naked, just roaming around in the hallways, Like something u see in the movies at a insane asylum, Flys flying around Everywhere, the food is slop served my mother some uncooked stale rice with a side of uncooked stale rice mixed with Mashed potatoes and some black gravy that looked like and smelled like puke, 🤮, what nurses they do have if that’s what they’re called I wouldn’t call them nurses more like kids sitting around laughing and playing on their phones while all the patience have their nurse assistant lights flashing outside the doors Needing Help, that’s all you seen down every hallway was all the lights flashing patients needing assistance an 5 nurses/kids just sitting behind the nurses station laughing playing on their phones an I was there 2 hours an None of them even Moved they All was still sitting there when I left! The man next-door fell trying to get to the bathroom because Nobody would come help him this place Needs to be shut down ASAP!!🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫‼️‼️‼️.. I Signed my mother Out Immediately ‼️
