This place doesn't deserve even a one star rating. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. I went to multiple care meetings and presented concerns with never any changes. I was assured after each one there would be changes. I lost hope in them and whatever system they thought they have there. There were a few good staff but not a whole lot. The owners need to speak to families when they come not the ones running the place. My mom would lay in wet briefs for who knows how long, bathroom and rooms were nasty, food was cold and non edible most days, not enough sheets and towels, the supplies they were suppose to provide would run out and the list goes on....If it weren't for Hospice of Davidson County she would have never gotten baths or the wonderful care they gave. We had to supply so much for our mother whose income was very limited. The little bit she got wouldn't even cover those necessities. My desire is for the right person to step foot in there at a time they aren't expecting them. I feel bad for the ones there who have no family stopping in.
I would highly recommend this facility for everyone. My Brother transitioned from Rehabilitation to a LTC resident. We are very pleased with the level of care he is receiving. Any and all needs have been addressed. Joanne (Admissions Director) is always available to help if needed. Thanks to all of the staff that have helped my brother feel safe in his new home.
Davidson Nursing and Rehab has a truly wonderful staff. Joanne in Admissions is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely cares and always goes above and beyond. The Physical and Occupational Therapy teams are top-notch, providing excellent care and support throughout the stay. Lorri is also awesome! She makes sure that families have resources lined up for success when patients are discharged. Love the ice cream parlor. Highly recommend!
Reviews means a lot when you’re looking for a place to put your loved ones, this is from knowledge through a good friend of mine. Her dad has been there for a long time. And in recent days it’s as if no one could care less about him and he’s been treated terrible. I wouldn’t put anyone I love at this facility. I’d look around.
This place looks nice but let me tell you- my dad wore the same depend and clothes for five days until I demand that he be changed and asked just what the CNAs were supposed to do. He was showered and changed that day only to wear the next depend and clothes for another five days. He had swelling from fluid in his foot from CHF and I had to ask 3 days in a row what are you all doing about it until I finally had him sent out myself where he is still in the hospital after 2 weeks. This place was great when it was Alston Brook but now It’s no better than the rest of them. Someone is going to answer for the neglect my father experienced there and I’m seeking the courts help to make sure they do! If you love your family member and they have to be here make sure you can be there as well every shift.
