I’m writing to express my deep concern and frustration with the level of care and overall condition of the facility where my grandfather currently resides. I’ve visited him several times, and with each visit, I become more upset by what I see and experience. For example, during one visit, he was served breakfast and asked for milk with it. By the time staff returned, the breakfast had gone cold and he couldn’t eat it. It may seem small, but it reflects a larger issue—delayed and inattentive care. On another occasion, I found a roommate sitting outside the bathroom, visibly uncomfortable. They told me they had been waiting for 30 minutes after asking for assistance. Staff had placed them in front of the door and simply left them there. Knowing that people are paying a substantial amount of money for their loved ones to be in this facility, the level of care does not reflect that. The building itself is also in poor condition—broken blinds, lack of upkeep—and it gives the impression that the residents' dignity and comfort are not a priority. Frankly, it’s disheartening and unacceptable. It’s no surprise that there always seem to be empty beds—residents and families deserve better, and many are likely choosing to go elsewhere. This facility is in serious need of updates—not just to the physical building, but to staff training, responsiveness, and the culture of care. Unless things improve, we will have no choice but to look for a better option for my grandfather’s safety and well-being. No one should have to endure this kind of neglect.
My family member is still there their are good NAC certain days but many times my family member has been left sitting in feces and urine more then a hour last night it was a hour half I hand to call and tell them . She been left even though ask for it without water 24 hours they lost care plan from doctor and had to bring in another copy she ask for ice and was left without I ask the front desk and the lady said yes and went in a door never came out I waited in hall 30 min family member pushed light another 30 min and finally someone brought ice she has lost trust for pt. Sometimes they bring her to have PT and she sits for over hour waiting then finds out they are not doing pt I to the point where I'm going to bring her home if she is not move from there she suppose to be able to bear weight 50 percent so she could have a commode they just keep telling her they don't have the order which given twice to them she want to do PT to get better but if things don't change I will report it which I have to administrator thing change for few days then the same thing again I now looking into in home PT and caring for her at home or moving her
