Earlier this year we found ourselves at Louisburg Rehab Center. My mom had a fall and fractured her hip. Louisburg Rehab was recommended to us by our geriatric care manager who shared they had an excellent PT team. Indeed that was so, my mom recovered very quickly! When I met Lauren in PT I was very impressed and she and her Team were phenomenal. Samantha and Carly were instrumental and so encouraging in supporting my mom during her therapy time. Beyond OT and PT was the day to day living at the facility. Walking in to a rehab faciltiy for the first time can be overwhelming. Karla who manages admissions was so warm and kind when we arrived – reassuring me about the care my mom would have. Herman who manages food service was so outgoing and friendly and takes pride in the meals and his staff. Jenny who works in the kitchen, along with her amazing co-workers, go out of their way to get to know the residents and serve them with joy and smiles! Stacy organizes fun and engaging activities for the residents, and during special occasions and holdidays the entire staff goes all out with food and décor to make it a memorable time. The aides and CNAs were lovely – Tosha, Tabitha, Kim, Brandy, and I know many others who’s names I cannot recall. Nurses! Awesome! David, Deb, and Nancy to name a few. Again, there were others whose names I can’t recall. My mom and I got to know many of the staff and residents and continue to go back and visit. If you worked with my mom Mrs. Battista, we want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts – there are many many people I am leaving out here, but you know who you are, and we know who you are. You are all special to us. We recommend Louisburg Rehab if you need rehab or nursing care!

We were very happy with the care that my Mama received at the Independent Apartments at the Manor, Assisted Living at the Manor and then Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The staff, nurses, and doctors at all 3 divisions were always compassionate, patient and helpful. The sleeping rooms, common areas and bathrooms are clean. They provided engaging activities in all 3 divisions. I have a special picture of my Mama’s last Christmas that the Social Service Manager took and sent me as a Christmas card. Mama always felt safe at the facilities. She would go outside and walk for exercise on the sidewalk outside of her room when in the apartment. The food is appetizing and I’ve heard many people compliment the food at Louisburg Healthcare. Thank you for taking such good care of my Mama. The Peace Family

I’ve been to a few events for my grandmother at the facility and we loved it! I attended an Easter egg hunt that involved the whole community and we all loved watching the kids play. They also provide fun little activities like a hot chocolate bar! My grandma is very cared for and entertained. I love adopting residents for Christmas and taking names from the angel tree and can’t wait to do it again!

My sister was at Louisburg Rehab for two weeks following a fractured hip. The care was exceptional! The nurses, aides and therapists provided excellent care. The facility was clean and room was cleaned daily by friendly housekeeping staff. Sam the social worker was involved from day one and did a great job coordinating discharge home.

I was there 2 months. I laid in a wet diaper for four hours once and most times at least 1 to 2. I can talk. If you can't good luck. Rudest CNA's on the planet and the only ones with good attitudes coming from an agency. The CNA is hired by the staff make you feel like they are doing you a favor every time they come in your room. They're short abrupt rude sometimes not even speaking to you. Food is hit and miss .most of the time is not coming with any condiments how are you going to serve me a hot dog with nothing to put on it. Also I have an injured hand so even if the food came with condiments they didn't stay in my room long enough to ask me if I needed him opened which I did. Overall a horrible experience and if you have a brain in your head do not go there and do not put anybody in there. If they know you have family coming the entire staff will be in your room kissing your butt all the time but if you don't have anybody coming in that day you're just as well as ignored be warned thank you
