Do not even bring your worse enemy to this place. The CNA and nurses are dirty and do not care for the residents as they should. Many things need to be repaired and cleaned. The office staff including the admindistor disregard issue with the bugs and the state of being dirty, characterized by the presence of grime, filth, or uncleanliness. I have been looking for an facility to bring my father too, as you should I have been researching a place to place him. I have read the reviews for Palm and to come to find out the good reviews are from the EMPLOYEES! Come to find out the Admindistor has been at Palm for MANY YEARS. She knows better and it is very clear she needs a new career caring for the elderly is not one of them.

UPDATE : Update: When I worked here I loved my patients and co-workers! I honestly felt I abandoned them when I left them in this awful dictator run facility where yes the review below is correct! PLEASE DO NOT bring anyone here you care about or your worst enemy. The other reviewer was correct the Administrator has been there many years and as a Mental Health professional I was told while working there the Admin is just trying to 'fill beds'. That's how they make money for those who don't know. In 6 months in my unit one person passed away...could've been prevented the fall although I wasnt there when it happened so not sure. But, if you research yourself you can fine the fines they have been fined in the last 2 years and one was for a fall death. I learned after leaving that 5 ppl in my old unit had passed away. This horrified me. I wws gwnuinely hurt and heartbroken and when I called to ask a simple question because I thought they had all been recent, i was ignored on hold for 15 mins and then rudely told that they were all dead a while ago. Like no big deal like the tone that says they never mattered....they did to me and all the CNAs that bonded to these humans everyday! This isn't an idea of quality of life people. I pray all the time for my prior clients I let down by losing my job (yep you guessed it) they made some crap up and I tried to fight it but the Administrator straight up hung up on me before I could finish a sentence. So sadly I also pray for the hard-working, family-time sacrificing, awesome, overworked, underpaid, like sisters, CNAs and Nurses that I had the pleasure to even lend a hand to help them do their jobs while I was there! Girls you know who you are...keep up the amazing work you do, while never being recognized for it by your own lame bosses who should get out of their jobs before they ruin more lives. Peace to E, J, T, C, and one more I am forgetting who passed away off my watch last year and their families that did care. I am so sorry...😞 I will continue to ask for forgiveness for not fighting harder for you. I promise I am not being a disgruntled employee just heard from an old co-worker recently just that a name change didnt fix this place. So Administrators who dont give a damn...we SEE you!!

I have a family member residing at Palm Terrace and I must say that although she may not be the best patient or easiest to work with, she is extremely well treated here. She is usually very outspoken with complaints about nursing homes, hospitals, and staff, but she has been very positive about her time so far at Palm Terrace. This is the happiest I have seen her in several years. We are very appreciative to the director and staff.

Came to visit my Aunt and a man was trying to shove food in her mouth while screaming at her right in her face. I then said HI were her family. He immediately looked shocked. They would move her room around and take all of her pictures down and never put them back up they’d put them in the closet. She was in no condition to be moved and they moved her all the time. This place is HORRIBLE. If I could’ve taken care of my aunt myself I would’ve because leaving her in the hands of this place was so horrifying. They definitely don’t take care of their patients. I even spoke to a nurse who quit working there because she said they didn’t treat their patients right or have the things they needed to care for their patients. Very sad place. Oh and every time we’d come she’d have atleast 5-10 cards and pictures people had sent to her unopened. So the small amount of joy that could be given to their patients by opening a letter or mailing one for them isn’t! They don’t care at all about their patients.

My family just recently needed a facility for our uncle to rehab to home from and without hesitation we chose Palm Terrace. The staff were absolutely wonderful to him during his stay and went above and beyond to make sure that his time there was the closest it could be to being home.
