My wife has been a resident since April and suffers from Huntington's Disease. They were one of few facilities willing to take her. I know she is a difficult patient to handle, given her limitations. The staff with whom my family and I are interacting have been extremely attentive, compassionate and caring. Health care is a difficult business. My daughter and two of my nieces are employed in health care & I know the staffing challenges they and all medical facilities face. I'm not aware of Northern Dauphin's resident to "nursing personnel" ratio; however, I know the employees are working as hard as they can & I'm satisfied with the care they are providing for my wife.
0 stars is not available. Stay away. Very bad communication and planning skills.
My love is currently in this place and they are treating her so badly and has no respect at all and this place needs shut down for what they have put my love through
I was a "resident" at Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from July 2020 until May 2022. I was in a coma for a year and a half. I was not expected to live. However, the staff worked a miracle. They saved my life. I will forever be grateful that I was transported to Northern Dauphin. I love everyone of the staff and they will FOREVER be my family. Everyone of the staff is so very caring and dedicated. I recovered because of the love and support of everyone who works at Northern Dauphin. Without all the nurses, aides, CNAs, therapists, physical therapists, drivers, maintenance team, support staff, and doctors I would not be independent now and living on my own. I owe my life to everyone at Northern Dauphin. They do not get paid enough for what they do. They should make a lot more money and I hope they get a raise a couple times a year. THANK YOU, NORTHERN DAUPHIN NURSING AND REHABILITATION FOR SAVING MY LIFE AND GIVING ME A NEW LIFE.
My dad has been a resident here for a few years and my grandmother was a resident before him. The staff are extremely hard-working, caring and respectful. The activities are well-planned and varied - my dad really enjoys them. The administrators are organized and efficient. My family is very grateful for the Premier.
