Amber Manor Care Center

Very impressed with the level of care and attention provided at this nursing home. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable and supported, creating a warm and welcoming environment. From the cleanliness of the facilities to the quality of the meals most of the time. The nurses and caregivers are not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate, treating each resident with dignity and respect. My family member has thrived here, and I am grateful for the peace of mind knowing they are in such capable hands.

I’m so beyond grateful for the wonderful care my aunt received while at Amber Manor. They really went above and beyond for her care and making her always feel welcome.

Our family has used Amber Manor twice for loved ones. First, we had our Aunt (we called her Sissy) admitted after she had a fall and was unable to care for herself any longer. The staff was wonderful and they even called her "Sissy" and she loved that!! She was able to receive therapy there when she qualified/ needed it and we didn't have to take her anywhere else for it. She got to participate in the activities they offered and I still have her snowflake painting hanging up at home! Then, Covid hit, and we were unable to visit for a while, but we knew how she was doing from phone calls, pictures & videos posted and shared via Facebook and other social media. Eventually "porch visits" were opened up and we could see her in person for a short while. Sissy did pass from Covid, but the staff at Amber Manor gave us daily updates by phone and my friend, "Cappy", who works there sat with Sissy and held her hand for me, when I couldn't, so that she wasn't alone. In November of 2020, they held a Luminary Service for all residents and staff that was lost during Covid and our family was invited to participate to honor Sissy's memory. 💖 My second encounter was when my Mom was admitted under the services of Hospice. Amber Manor gladly let the Hospice Company of our choice come in to the facility and take care of Mom and let them bring in the medical equipment needed for her care. We also had 24/7 Nursing and Aide care for Mom when Hospice wasn't there. The staff even took care of our family providing snacks, meals, & drinks in Mom's room so we didn't have to leave the building and could enjoy all the time we needed with Mom. Mom had many visitors in her final days, and they made sure we had plenty of seating for everyone by bringing in extra chairs. The nurses were always willing to answer any questions or concerns we had. Mom had a broken femur and getting her in/out of bed had to be done with a "lift" and it caused her so much pain in her leg, but the Nurses and Aides were so kind and gentle and took it slow and talked to Mom when doing the transfers to ease the pain she had to endure from the fracture. They always told Mom what was going to be done before doing it and gave her the option of getting any needed meds beforehand. As her end neared, they even assisted us in trying to help feed her when we had trouble getting her to eat. And in Mom's final hours, they were close by and checked on us frequently letting us know we were not alone in those final moments. 💖 I definitely would recommend Amber Manor to any family needing assisted living to full care or Hospice in their loved ones final day.🙌🏻 Michelle Weitkamp McCain

I visit Amber Manor at least twice a week to visit with my aunt and some of the other residents as well. I am very impressed at how Friendly and helpful the staff is. If you need anything they are ready willing and able to assist you with your request. The facility is always very well kept . They clean the rooms very frequently and keep up on anything that needs attention. I enjoy dining with my aunt on occasions and the food is always great they offer a great menu and work very hard at keeping different options available to appeal to everyone. I love visiting there everyone greets you and ask how you are doing and go out of there way to be helpful. I have spoken with staff from Management, Nurses, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Laundry, Therapy, and Maintenance pretty much every department and they are all great to work with. I recommend you stop by for a tour if you are considering a place for a loved one they meet all the requirements and then some. My aunt is very happy to be living there and feels like one of the family. They make you feel at home and it shows. I almost forgot they have all sorts of activities for the residents to enjoy making Amber Manor a great place to call Home.

The care my mom received was fantastic! Loving, caring employees! Nursing staff wonderful and helpful. Fun activities! Therapy was fantastic! The front line staff excellent I don’t want to forget any names but everyone we encountered were knowledgeable and helpful. She felt safe and cared for!
