Port Lavaca Skilled Nursing and Rehab has been a wonderful experience during two separate rehab stays. They are professional and give quality care while still making you feel you are special and each employee we had experiences with from janitorial staff to the care team members and up, make you feel like family and cared for. Definitely a positive experience on both stays even with the care period was 15 months apart.
Dietary staff led by Rosemary has done an amazing job on the meals for our residents. They serve the residents with care and compassion. They serve with a smile. Peggy-our tiny energetic activity director has a great attitude and the perfect energy to serve the residents. Peggy is always willing to lend a helping hand without hesitation.

Our good friend Calvin Hammett stayed at your facility for 103 days. We visited him numerous times. The staff were all very friendly, cheerful and courteous. We would like to give a special shout out to Bridget Brown. She was especially helpful to Calvin and ourselves in keeping us informed and helping to make difficult decisions. Thank you again to all Joe & Shirley Bokorney
