I am a pastor in Pratt and visit members of our church at Pratt Health and Rehab often. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They seem to care for residents. The people I visit are thankful for good food and good care. There are many activities for residents.

I have had both of my parents in Pratt Health and Rehab at different times. My mom has been there twice to recover from falls. She loved it there. She got along well with the staff and the residents. The facility went out of their way to make my moms stay a good experience. I had questions about my moms stay and financial arrangement and they were very patient with me. My mom is now staying in the Derby Health and Rehab. She is very happy there. They keep her very busy and she is also close to family in Derby and that was very important to her. My Dad was also in the Pratt Health and Rehab. He had been in hospice care at home for several months and I was getting to hard to keep him at home. He really didn't want to go to the home, but he knew that is where he needed to be. He fell in love with the staff almost immediately. He loved to flirt, even at 88 yoa. The nurses and aids gave back to him all their love and kindness. He tried very hard to keep his spirits high. The last night before he passed away was a long night for him. The nurses kept him very comfortable and was very kind and helpful to me. It could of been a horrible experience but the staff were so good to me and my family. Pratt health and Rehab was a home for my parents not a nursing home!!! Pam
