It was nice recouping after some emergency surgery at Quartz Hill. Everyone working there were nice and friendly. I kept waiting any day for someone from the Dietitian's office to come to me, but I didn't see anyone for well over a week. There were certain meals I did like, but the food in general needed to improve. I did think the PT and OT departments were well run. I was here about 9 yrs ago and under a different ownership and it was better now. The 2 different rooms I was in had been renovated, but the bathrooms were badly in need of the same, particularly the old tile floors.

Competent and caring staff showed respect. My husband got the PT he needed to get back on his feet and come home in less than 1 week. The food was not to his liking, and his clothes were lost into the laundry and never found. Overall, probably the best of the SNFs in Redding, but could be better.

The nursing staff and support team are amazing! AJ was my mother in-law’s nurse, he was the best, caring, communicative and professional along side his empathy for her and for my husband and I.

I thought fort Hill was a wonderful place to do my rehab I loved the physical and occupational therapist they were great gals Judy and Sam they were the PTS and let me tell you they worked me to death but it helped me in the long run to heal much faster so I could go home. Everybody was kind and courteous the nurses the I think they're called the c n CN something I can't remember but they were great the only thing I have to say is the food was not that good there's a lot of room for improvement with the food is concerned but other than that everything and everybody was wonderful courteous and helpful and kind keep up the good work.
