My mother has been a resident for the past 9 months of the LTC unit. She has dementia and her overall care is quite excellent! Any issues are handled promptly..As a family our only complaint is the visitors parking lot frequently has employees parking there and that makes it very difficult for my brother who has severe lung disease to walk up the hill... Parking is a problem that needs addressing..many of these advanced elderly patients have elderly children visiting! We would think that 20-45 yr old staff could walk up!

My dad was there for 3 months and it was horrible. The majority of the staff were not compassionate, sometimes unfriendly, and seemed uninterested in doing the job they are being paid to do. The call button for residents is a joke, my dad stop trying to get help. They seemed unwilling to keep him clean, days on days without a shower. I escalated to management many times, nothing changed..incredibly bad facility

My grandmother spent the last couple of months of her life at this facility while battling the final stages of ALS. While a few staff members showed compassion, most were disorganized, uncooperative, and unwilling to work with our family—even as we advocated for her comfort during hospice care. One staff member even showed visible attitude while we were pleading for basic pain relief. She was in clear distress and was repeatedly denied the pain medication she had been prescribed. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive the way she was made to suffer. I would never recommend anyone receive care from this facility while experiencing a terminal illness. No family should have to endure what we did.
