I went for a walk throught of this facility with my daughter a member of Baptist Hospital. She dropped me off in front and went to park the car. I'm sitting on a bench outside when a young man walked outside a began talking to one of the residents. He was concerned how long she had been outside and asked her sweetly if she thought it was time to come inside. She began to resist slightly, and he concured. Well he said I will give you a little longer- however you cannot sit in the sun. She was extremely happy and continued to smile. When my daughter took me inside the young man was walking around talking to the residents. I was introduced to him and did not know he was actually the director (Michael). I found the facility clean, pleasant and family friendly. The staff behaved as through the residents were family. My experience was above what I really expected to see. Michael made a profound statement " would I bring my mother to this place" his answer YES !! This Faculity is a 5-star !!!
First day for my Father, He was impressed with the help and assistance given upon arrival. Had his first dinner and enjoyed the food very much! Hoping for a good experience to come. Thank you staff at Pecan Valley!
Healthcare is hard work, often under appreciated and grossly underpaid. I’m so grateful for people who are still committed to the work and to protecting the treasure of the elderly. Pecan Valley truly showed exemplary compassion and welcomed our advocacy for our favorite patient. She was almost reticent to come home after recovering from a fall! Thank you for taking care of her so well and encouraging her to keep loving her best life!
This facility is far from new but they do keep it clean and my niece raves about the food! My niece has been there not even a week & has been in a wheelchair & shower for the first time since her hospitalization (for debilitating strokes) on the 1st of September 2024, which left her partially paralyzed & completely immobile. The shining stars of this facility are the staff. Everyone is kind, helpful & competent. The person who stands out the most, is the wonderful Pauline! She really goes the extra mile and it is obvious that each and every one of her patients are special to her. Thank you Pauline. We all sleep a little better knowing that you care so much and know how care for so many different ailments & personalities!
The staff took great care of our Dad and were attentive to his needs. He even like the food!
