I would like to thank Silsbee Oaks Healthcare for taking care of our mother for almost 5 years . Our mom had Alzheimer’s and was bedritten for about 4 of those years . The nurses and aids were so sweet to her and I was notified anytime there was an issue . The facility is clean , never have I ever walked in and it smelled bad or felt unclean. The staff was always friendly and helped me when I needed assistance with any kind of information concerning my mother . I researched many facilities before I chose this one and if you have a loved one who needs care, I would suggest you make a trip and have a visit before you make a decision . We just lost our mom to this horrible disease recently and I can honestly say she received great care till she took her last breathe .

It has been a few months since the passing of my father. My name is Oscar, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of Silsbee Oaks for taking such good care of him. He wasn't just a job to the people we would see at each visit, they became extended family to both him and me. The compassion and care was beyond anything we could have imagined. If looking for a facility for a loved one I would be able to refer Silsbee Oaks to anyone. I never thought I would have needed help, but at some point it becomes necessary to ensure your loved one is taken care of with quality care capable of tending to his medical needs 24 hrs a day and for their safety. Again I would like to thank all of the staff for doing such a wonderful job with my father.

I would like to thank everyone who expressed condolences on the death of my husband, Gilbert. I appreciate your comforting words. The past two weeks have been difficult, but I could not have asked for a sweeter, more loving group of people than the staff at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee, TX. They were a band of angels surrounding us with comfort, care and support. For 2 years they have given Gilbert the finest care a person could ever ask for. They poured into our room every day during this last week to check on us and share funny and happy stories and memories of their times with Gilbert. They lifted me up throughout the days and nights with hugs, food, friendship and prayers. Two very dear friends took time off from their jobs to be with me at the hospital and nursing home. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to you both. Family members talked with me daily; re-assuring me of their love and support. As I write this, I am greatly blessed to be surrounded by my family. I love each and every one of you. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the outstanding support and encouragement you gave my mom for her recovery. You immediately made a difference and we are thankful for the opportunity to improve her life. Kindness and dedication made her believe she could improve.

When we walked in, it was like walking into someone’s living room. We felt such peace. Our loved one has been at Silsbee Oaks for almost 6 weeks. They take great care of her and everyone has been so kind and friendly.
