Villa Scalabrini, is a great place I have a hanai auntie that is there and she loves it. She tells everyone that she's on a Catholic retreat. The food there is just lovely and feels like you're at a 5 star hotel. The staff is very supportive and made sure that everyone in the nursing home was safe, they also have activities daily to keep the residence busy. I love how they have mass twice a day. I'm hoping to put my dad there in the future, with his deteriorating memory loss. I definitely recommend this place.

I have both my parents who recently moved into the Assisted Living Campus at Villa Scalabrini. I can not say enough great things about Villa Scalabrini!!! The staff is amazing beyond compare, professional, caring, attentive and always available. The campus is immaculate and most beautiful for one to see. The residents are very nice and welcoming, everyone is cheerful. I have never been happier as I am today with my folks living situation, Villa has been a blessing of enormous fortune for my family.

My Dad, Aunt, Cousin and good family friend are all at Villa Scalabrini now during Covid. The staff have worked so hard to keep everyone safe during these crazy times. They are dealing with a very difficult situation and we truly appreciate how hard they are working to keep everyone safe. My family has attended mass at Villa since I was a child going back 35 years. It brings us much comfort and peace knowing that our loved ones are in a facility that cares.

I just relocated my sweet 90 year young mom to the Special Care Unit at the Villa. She had been living for a short time in a nursing home in LaGrange Il. This will be her first year without snow! Villa Scalabrini has welcomed her with open arms and heart. After less than one week, she told me she "loved" it here. It means so much to me to know she is so well cared for. This is a very special "home" away from home. Thank you all.

I have one parent age 84 in the special care (skilled nursing) unit & one age 77 in the assisted living part of the building. Prices are reasonable for the Los Angeles area I suppose. Not the newest facility around, but it does have a certain charm. Built at the end of the 70's & funded by the Italian American community of LA including ol blue eyes himself...Frank Sinatra. If you visit, be sure to check out the Chapel on site & also say "Hello Dolly" to the painting of Dolly Sinatra out in the adjacent hallway. Daily Mass and rosary is offered for the residents. The iconography around this place is definitely Catholic and/or Italian, although it's not required that you be of that background to live here. The furniture in the main foyer is Baroque in it's style. Pretty nice gardens w/water fountains etc around the facility to enjoy the SoCal weather year round if your parent is able to walk around. Physical therapy offered in the skilled nursing side of the place but not the assisted living. Several dozen fairly new La Dolce Vita residences out back (two bedroom condos) for elders who are still healthy enough for independent living, but I think there's a waiting list to get in. Overall I rank it a strong 4 stars as a five star "resort" place would be prohibitively expensive. I'm sure you could find cheaper, but as the ol' adage goes "you get what you pay for."
