If I could give 0 stars I would. When my father was sent to the hospital the calls we got from this place were to “secure his bed” to make sure he had a bed to come back to. Their physical therapy is a joke when they count the time that they are moving my father to the therapy room and back he was only receiving about 1/4 of the time he was supposed to be. My father had wounds and dressings that were supposed to be getting changed that weren’t being changed for weeks until my mother said something. The part that kills me is my dad was having seizures and the nurses would come in and look and say oh he’s fine. Come to find out he’s been in epilepsia status for a day due to edema from cancer. Do not let anyone stay here!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I wish to God I had listened to these reviews instead of thinking of the convenience of location. Please, do NOT send a loved one here! My mother lost 25 lbs in a little over a month. Their response - let's stop her dementia and antidepressant medications. She was taking them BEFORE she arrived there and was a healthy weight. The worst by far though is that they claimed that my mom dislocated her brand new hip, BROKE not one but TWO ribs AND her back by lying in bed. They claim there was no fall and they didn't drop her.... This is the worst place in the entire planet. She is so much worse now than when she arrived.
Darla is the worst, rude when i asked for help for my grandma. my grandma is unresponsive and had a fever and had not been checked. she seemed bothered when i asked for help to check on her, when i asked what the protocol was after we determined she did in fact have a fever she yelled saying she needs to check her chart. i called er. i DO NOT recommend this place.
My mom has been there for almost a year, I have been trying to find her a different location but nothing available for her needs. she hates it there, her mind is still good and can communicate in her own way. She tries to with the staff too but they are too inpatient, lazy, young, immature and unqualified to be working there in my opinion. NOT all but most. You need to find better older, mature, qualified CARING help. Make sure they know that if this was one of their mommas or daddys, wouldn't they want them to be treated well?
DO NOT GO THERE! If you love your family do not send them there! I was there longer than I needed to be do to being homeless and I had staff say that I was stealing snacks or taking more than I should. That the snacks belonged to the residents . Being accused of burning incense and being accused of all kinds of stuff. Uncompassionate about peoples life situations. Took away important medicine that my Doctor prescribed but had their doctor say I didn't need them. What is sad is the some of the nurses and aids are great .so that helps but it isn't worth it. Here are some photos of stuff I had to deal with . A shared bathroom and how they left trash from a COVID patient just left in the hallway .
