My mom is currently a resident/patient here. She was brought here from Shands yesterday. I have visited her twice since she got here, and both times she told me that she was receiving good care. It's nice to not have to stress about her well being when I can't be there.

After posting a review , Ayers staff went all out to rectify the problem, I understand they sent their maintenance man from his home to take care of th issue. My wife was totally surprised to find repairs being made to her tv late at night. She is totally happy with her care at Ayers. My first review might have been very hasty.for that , I apologize and know that Ayers is a 1st class establishment. Leon Latham

My mom has been there. Virginia McCook for going on 7 years. I've pretty much never had a problem. If I have, it's always been dealt with respectfully. But I love this place. They are always doing something. With the residents to keep them happy and involved. I love this place for My mom.. The nurses are very sweet and respectful, and so are the cna's I would highly recommend it.

My Dad was a bedridden rehab patient at Ayers about 15 years ago and a wonderful PT had him walking within a few months after everyone had given up. He was able to return home and have several years of enjoyable life before his unrelated death at age 95.5. My Mom is a current resident at age 97 and requires total care which is excellent. Everyone is extremely caring and capable. We couldn’t be more pleased and thankful for such wonderful care by caring staff.

Ayers is the best health and rehab I have found in Florida. I am Power of Attorney for my mother Flo. She has been a resident there for several years. You know it is run well, because the employees are helpful, friendly, and always have a positive attitude. Many facilities I have been in have polite employees, but they look stressed and as if they would move on if they could. The staff at Ayers is proactive when it comes to patient care and quality of life. Ayers has an outstanding volunteer group that stages special events and even has events to improve and maintain the grounds. Many of its members are families of residents. I have not seen a volunteer support group this active at any other facility. The only downside is that Ayers is fairly difficult to get admitted as a resident probably because of its great reputation. Joe Phillips
