The facility was emergency evacuated for legionnaires disease. Their water system tested positive way before this evacuation and they kept everyone in the dark. In fact, they are still continuing to do so. The new Administrator Kimberly is horrible and does not even accept family's phone calls and ignores emails. The place has gone down hill drastically. The care for these poor residents is minimal at best. The food has become horrible and they do not stick to the residents diets at all. The Supervisors say they will fix the issues and don't. Continuously short-staffed.The turnover of employees is disgusting. Stay away from this place! Second evacuation in 3 months. This place needs to be shut down. What will the next problem be? Update: St. Joseph's is closing down for good. They had to have known of the multiple issues and structural damage on top of it and put everyone at risk.Just horrific.

I currently have my mother there and I must say most of the staff are pleasant and easy to communicate with at all times. The nurses are good and most of the aides are fantastic. My mom is always clean constantly being changed and her sheets are always clean. My mother’s room smell great at all times. I am very happy with the way they treat my mom. I must say there’s one or two nurses with an attitude but nothing any job doesn’t have. Overall is a great place to have your loved one’s.

If I could give this place zero stars I would have picked that option. Do not send your loved one here. It is absolutely terrible and as you can see they're all over the news about their disgusting sinks that carry legionnaires disease. This place should have been shut down a long time ago. My grandmother died from nursing home neglect and a bed sore that they tried to cover up and it didn't work because the hospital staff was one step ahead of them my family hired a lawyer and we got justice..They are an awful facility. Stay away from this place!

Update May 18 2025 - For the second time in three months, this place was shut down, and all residents were removed by Emergency Evacuation. This time by the Fire Marshall for code violations. This is just plain crazy ! ******** Update March 6th 2025 - All residents have been evacuated in emergency reaction due to Legionnaires' disease. No word yet on reopening. My family member was moved to Nortbridge Care in Bridgeport CT ******** I have almost 2 years of experience with this facility advocating for a disabled relative. I visit consistently about 3 times a week. Most of the staff and employees are good and care about the residents. But there's also always 1 or 2 that seem to hate their job and treat people with distain. Also the food is very poor. I bring a real meal as much as I can. And always have a large bag of snacks for a bunch of residents I've gotten to know and befriend. They are so happy to get even a little snack and Hello. It's sad when one passes away. I was going to give 2 stars, but there's a new head medical admin that's making a real effort to correct the nagging issues. So I give 3 stars. New update 7 months later - I'm reducing down to 2 stars from 3. The food has gotten much worse. The elevators are always going Out-of-order Staff turnover is a big problem. My family member there has to call 911 repeatedly to go to the hospital for real medical help. The place is going downhill.

St. Joseph's was the best choice for my father after his stay in the hospital. We were all understandably hesitant about placing a family member into facility care during COVID, but St. Joseph's was extremely diligent and thorough in their protocols and processes. The staff were incredible and kept me and my family regularly updated due to not being able to visit. His care was exceptional, and they put together a very thorough discharge plan for follow up and care upon my father's returning home. He has been home for over two weeks now and still tells me regularly how incredible his stay was at St. Joseph's and how wonderful the staff were and that he wishes he could have stayed longer. Fantastic experience and provided a huge relief to my family. Highly recommend
