Been there 3 times in past 60 days. Staff is very friendly and facility appears to be good home.
I placed my mother there years ago and she received exceptional care from the loving and caring nurses at this facility. I owe them a heartfelt Thank you from my heart. Thank you all.
The facility is clean, someone is at the front desk or walking around and available anytime I visit. The management team is easy to get ahold of and talk to.
My father had a fall and hurt his hip. No broken bones. however, he is unable to get up, transition, dress, bathe and/or shower unaided. So he was 100% reliant on your staff. Monday, May 5th 2025- You picked up my father from St. Lukes Twin Falls. I received a call from Brianna to fill out paperwork, set time to meet on Tuesday morning. Dad Seemed OK Tuesday, May 6th 2025- Met Brianna and filled out paperwork. Visited dad and he was doing a little worse. But still OK Wednesday, May 7th 2025- Visited Dad, he said he hadn't been eating. He said food was cold and bad. So he was getting weaker. Thursday, May 8th 2025- Visited Dad, noticed he was in the same clothes from the hospital. He mentioned that it was taking about an hour to get any assistance when he hit the call button. I figured it was him.....His mental and physical health was continuing to decline. Still not eating the cold bad food. Again, I thought he was being picky..... My wife called to ask about a care plan and they scheduled a meeting for Tomorrow the 9th. Friday, May 9th 2025- Checked on dad before care plan meeting, he was now to weak and tired to participate. Still in dirty clothes 5 days in this facility. We brought it up in the care plan meeting. We were told it should have been done on Wednesday AND It wasn't. Was informed it would be done today. Asked that he be put in clean clothes EVERY DAY the charge nurse wrote it down, so it isn't normal policy for the resident to be in clean clothes? (I bet you are in clean clothes every day) Saturday, May 10th 2025- Visited dad, 10am Found him with his light on and in pool of his own urine. He had used tissues to try and clean up pool. he said it had been an hour since the call button pressed, held urine for 15 min after pressed then the next 45+ min in urine. I found staff in hall disregarding the call lights. I asked them to do their job. I had to leave as to not make a scene. I returned about 2 hours later. At this time my dad told me about a nightmare he had where he hit the call button and nobody came (30 min) he tried to get up and ended up turned sideways with his feet off one side of the bed and his head off the other unable to move or get up. Then he urinated on himself. Another 30 min passed before help came. I said it sounded scary, good thing it was a dream. That is when he informed me it happened in real life and was an actual nightmare. That happened around 4am. So 2 times in less than 8 hours your staff your staff left him in his urine for extended time. He isn't incontinent but when no help comes..... I visited him again around dinner time, when his food was brought in (sheppards pie) i felt it and it was very cold. Nobody would eat that. Sunday, May 11th 2025- Visited dad, he seems sad. I brought him some food that is edible. When my daughter and I were leaving another resident begged us for help, she (Betty) was hungry, stuck in bed, with her light on and said the staff would speed past her room so they didn't have to help. I went back in the hallway and there were 7 call lights on. There were three people at the desk. I asked if they intend to do their jobs and they were hostile towards me. I went back and told Betty that help was coming. After waiting a bit I went back into the hallway and only after that did your staff stop their chat and start checking on residents. Monday, May 12th 2025- Contacted another rehab facility and they couldn't get him until Wednesday. So I had to pick him up and take care of him myself because he wasn't safe in your facility. This facility is serving inedible food. Mentally and emotionally abusing residents by forcing them to remain in urine and feces for hours. My dad's health and mental wellbeing deteriorated while in your facility, as a direct result of the actions of you and your staff. He was ashamed of himself like it was his fault. Update: Went in and talked to Administrator (executive director) HE BLAMED MY DAD AND BETTY so no accountability.
My friend likes your food and, I think is satisfied. However, your parking could be improved.
