The Oaks had a friends and family supper with the residents. The food was great. It was a delight to meet & greet some of our loved one's neighbors. The staff was attentive and the background music was enjoyable. Hoping the Oaks will have move events like this.
Pleasant and quiet. Good nursing staff. Administrative staff good too. Feel concerns are addressed. In warm weather, nice to sit on front porch. Feel she is getting good care
Awesome team to work with. My dad was a resident in 2021 and 2022 after his hospital stay for rehab. He was a dialysis patient recovering from a above the knee amputation. My dad had a great experience and liked all the staff that provided care throughout his stay. I will definitely recommend The Oaks Bethany to others. Thank you to my work family for the outstanding care for my dad. And for the support for me and my family.
My sister has been a resident @3 yrs. She has complained at times on bath day they run out of hot water. Yes, the rest rooms need to be updated. Food is OK, but see sandwiches mostly. The nurses and staff are very helpful and nice. Sherri Vaughn is the best! Bethany has gone through 3 financial officers since my sister has been there, I believe their newest finance Debbi, is getting things back in shape. Overall the staff are concerned and very friendly to residents.
After visiting the facility to visit my father, I am highly disappointment in this establishment. The building itself is very outdated, not cleaned thoroughly to the point that residents are constantly getting sick. There was a flu outbreak the week I was there. I even spotted mold on the furniture in the room and a shared bathroom that had a very questionable smell and either mold or feces on the floor around the toilet (I can’t imagine anyone using the bathroom, without vomiting). The food choices for residents are typically leftover food from the prior day or the weekend and roughly 16/21 food trays had food that was cold. It’s not pleasing to look at and the facility is not accommodating to one’s religious beliefs that does not allow them to eat certain foods. The solution is to give the resident whatever they have available which is usually a dry sandwich or an uncrustable. I’m pretty sure the food program being loosely followed is not meeting the dietary needs of their patients. This place needs to be investigated for the way the patients are treated and their living situation. There are some great nurses here but the conditions here are appalling and the majority of these reviews are fabricated and from staff that work here who are not attentive to the patients, hardly clean the high touch areas, and seem very unprofessional. I really hope this reviews helps to uncover the fraud, waste, and abuse the company that oversees the establishment is conspiring to cover up. If you have loved ones in this skilled nursing home, please check on them and visit the facility!
