Brentwood at Elkhart Independent Living

My grandma is doing well here but the rent increases for the elderly are horrific. 5 stars for care.

I come here to visit with a couple of clients frequently. Best independent living place i’ve ever been in. Always clean, very friendly staff and residents. 10/10

Jennifer Kedik and the folks at Brentwood are some pretty amazing people! I have visited on several occasions at varying times of the day and each time the residents were active and very obviously happy! The staff always seemed to be upbeat and very involved with the residents.

Our mom moved from her home (of 52 years) to Brentwood three years ago. She recently passed away from cancer, but the staff and residents at Brentwood were so kind, compassionate and helpful over that timeframe that my siblings and I thought we should let others know through this post. We were so blessed to have mom decide on this facility, and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone else who may be looking.

The facility recently underwent a change in ownership, resulting in significant disorganization. Several department heads appeared unusually detached in responsibility and aloof in attitude. When we shared the incompetence we encountered their sister facility concurred, yet there was no follow-up from the current corporate office, Priority Life Care. It wouldn't be surprising if ownership changes again until there's no value left, potentially leading to closure. I strongly advise against entrusting a loved one to this unstable environment.
