Wingate Residences at Haverhill

My mother was there. I would not recommend this place. She fell More there in the memory unit then she did at home. Look for other options. Don’t let the looks fooled you. Physical therapy was great. Everything else was horrible. Worst experience ever.

This place is terrible! My grandma fell from her bed and passed away a week later. They didn’t do the necessary protocol. They are heartless. They treat their patients horrible Ive witnessed it.

My wife has been in Wingate’s ‘Neighborhood’, their dementia care facility located in Haverhill, since Sept 2023 and we could not be more pleased with our decision to have her stay there. The kindness and warmth the caregivers provide to my wife each and every day is very special. They are all well-trained and treat my wife with respect, dignity and a lot of patience. They have creative programs throughout each day to engage the patients and keep them interested. And it really works. I visit my wife every couple of days or so and I see how well run the Neighborhood is firsthand. The facilities are relatively new – the building itself was built about 5 or 6 yrs ago and it still looks brand new. The rooms are all brightly lit and pleasantly decorated throughout the entire building. The Neighborhood was constructed specifically for individuals with memory issues – not repurposed as we saw in other dementia places we visited. The food is restaurant quality and is served in a nice spacious dining room. It is by far the best place we saw when we did our research and I highly recommend it. Best regards, Bob

Wingate was a perfect choice for our family. It is new, beautiful, and in a quiet location. By far, its greatest assets are the staff, who treat my mother with warmth and professionalism. They brought the entire community through the pandemic heroically. They were most cautious when they needed to be, and gradually loosened restrictions when it was sensible. We feel lucky to have found them.

Beautiful facilities, wonderful people and great amenities! I would recommend this venue to anyone seeking a warm, friendly, and well-appointed assisted living venue. Stacey was wonderful to work with.
