I’m only giving a 1 start because I couldn’t give less than that! They will put on a show and have you to believe its best place. Reality… owner doesn’t call you back, broken promises , no back up generator, ants in the rooms, food is terrible! Over cooked, too hard d for the elderly to eat or chocking hazard!!The cleanliness is much to be desired! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
My experience with Garden's Care Senior Living was very good. This business has several facilities of which I had the pleasure of experiencing two. My sister had a very serious situation in which over a year she went from independently living to walker then wheelchair and finally bed ridden in hospice. We started in a larger facility, Homestead, which was well run and offered her independence. The director was exceptional and realized that her needs were so that she needed additional care in a smaller facility so she was transferred to Jewell Estates. This facility was perfect in that there were only 8-10 residents and the staff was very attentive and caring. We were able to transition her to hospice and they worked seamlessly with the hospice staff and our family to care for her in her last days. The residents and staff have become family and I will miss them.
