Senior Care Plaza

My mom was a resident at this facility up until now. She had fallen the staff notified me at that time I took her to McKeesport hospital that was Jan. 6th and she is still there at hospital. When I returned to SCP to gather clothing at least 70 cups of medication were found in here room. The staff does not monitor the residents with medications. When I addressed this the owner walked out the door and let me deal with a staff member. Department of state was notified,hopefully this place gets shut down. Save your love ones do not put them here.

The place is clean and smell free. The care given to the senior residents is good and friendly. The caregivers take time to converse with the residents and their visiting family members. Residents seem happy with their accommodations, and many activities are offered daily for those residents who wish to participate.

Staff neglecting residents. Busy doing personal business on the clock. When assistance requested by family we are blown off. Other residents are not paid attention to despite visitors witnessing staff. Floors are sticky and the building smells like soiled linen or diapers. Will be calling management.

This place is a disgrace. I don't know how they still are in opperation, or why they have a license to operate. The state should be ashamed that they put peoples lives in jeopardy. Staff do not care, IF you can even find one. It smells to high heaven like human waste. People look emaciated. There are 0 activities, people plopped in chairs in their rooms if they are ever out of bed at all. Meals are that of what you might find in a jail cell. Its filthy.

This is a terrible place. I moved my father out of the facility after about 1 month. They are completely unprofessional and there is a total lack of communication between staff members. I can't believe that they are licensed. If you care about your loved one, do not use this facility.
