I have now had 2 family members in Shawnee Memory Care and I highly recommend them. The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly, loving, and helpful. Memory issues can be very difficult for family to handle around the clock. When the assurance of 24 hr care is needed, Shawnee Memory Care can supply that peace of mind. I am now able to enjoy my family member in this stage of life knowing the care needed is always there to support her. We are very thankful for Shawnee Memory Care and the staff!
From the first time we started looking into Shawnee Memory Care, everyone was kind, supportive and considerate. We felt very confident in the care that Mom would receive. I have been there at all different times and various days of the week. Every time the staff are involved with the care of the residents!! It’s not any easy job caring for people in the shape and various stages, but they do and 99% of the time with a smile! Morgan always takes care of the maintenance needs quickly and Marissa is always smiling. Jamie and Leota take good care of the folks and you can tell they really care about the residents. I feel confident in the care my mom receives and where she is now!!
We have our mom at SMC. The staff there is amazing. From the beginning when we met with them, they were so helpful with getting her all set up to come there. They worked with us and answered so many phone calls. The staff that cares for our mom is amazing. Every time we come by, they are treating her with loving care. They often have her smiling and laughing. They know us by name and are always so friendly and helpful. They remember that she is a real person with feelings and fears, they don't just treat her like a patient. We are very happy with the care and attention she receives.
