The Gardens at Liberty Park is a warm, welcoming community where residents truly feel at home; staff go above and beyond with kindness, compassion, and attention to detail. The events, atmosphere, and personalized care create a vibrant place full of joy, dignity, and connection. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional senior living support and a family-like environment!
This place is the armpit of nursing homes. I truly regret placing my mother here and beg you not to put your loved one in there if you truly love them. Everything from the urine and feces stench to the lack of caregivers is deplorable. There is no dignity for any resident, most are left to sit in soiled clothes for hours until someone finally gets around to changing them. The entire administration staff is a joke and very rude. They are now actively denying that my mother had money in her account and demand proof, although they admitted that a previous employee lost/mishandled financial records! I will give them there proof and see where this goes. We have mom’s attorney on deck just in case. Please DO NOT place your loved one here! Edit: After many hassles and being treated like a liar I presented the “proof” they demanded to prove they mishandled my mother’s trust account. So yes, I got her money back. But was it handled professionally? Absolutely not! Lisa gave the excuse that she had only been there a couple of months, and could I blame her for questioning me. Really? They actually admitted that a former employee mishandled funds. When I walked in Lisa was kicked back in a chair with her feet up on the furniture like she owned the place. Real professionals! Here are a few photos of my mother’s room. Should they leave chemicals in Alzheimer’s patients room? How about their toothbrush on their comb? Gross!
I am fortunate to be there almost everyday. My mom is taken care of pretty well and I am always there to make sure of this and to keep her room clean and laundry done. I see a lot of things I do not like. -Need more staff -Need showered -Dirty rooms -Dirty halls -Dirty lunchrooms -Residents not getting feed (plates get set down but some don’t know how to do things without instruction or helped). -Very Soiled clothes on several residents a week. I have grown to love all the residents and my mom is happy most of the time. I enjoyed working with Jamie Fast but I wish they had more staff to do all the things I was told. I love nurse Mo, Lori . I love the RA Makayla and Renee, activities Kim and Tracy these individuals love the residents and pay very close attention to them and their needs. I wish some of staff treated others how they would like to be treated. These residents can not advocate for themselfs. The memory care unit is very touch. They are VERY understaffed and the staff in memory care is overworked OR busy playing on their cell phones.
Sometimes they are very nice. Other times, horrible. And they play games. Can't get to Streets if you go there
My mother was at The Gardens for only a couple of months before her passing. During her short time there, I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care she received. Her caregivers were very attentive, compassionate and able to tell me what was happening at any given moment. Many of the caregivers have also been there a long time, which speaks volumes.
