BROOKDALE TANQUE VERDE

Brookedale on Tanque Verde and the one on Speedway have helped my entire family through this process. It's not easy and it's a lot of choices to make for your loved ones. They have support groups and staff that are all involved with everyone's welfare. I have never felt my family or I lacked information involving our parents.

My wife has been a patient at Brookdale Tanque Verde for just over a year. She has been treated with dignity and care throughout her progression with Alzheimer's Disease. .

My experience with Brookdale Tanque Verde has been nothing but positive. The residence itself is like being in your own home, very comfortable and comforting. The management staff as well as the maintenance staff, the medical staff, the activities director, and the caregivers are all very caring. They want to make this a very positive experience for both residents and their families.

Original Post: My Mom has lived at Brookdale Tanque Verde for a few months. I am constantly impressed with the staff at this facility. They are friendly, compassionate, and really engage with the residents. The staff is also good about engaging with the families. When I walk in, they often tell me in detail how she is doing that day, which confirms that they are engaging with her. The rooms are nice, the facility is clean, and the food is pretty good. My Mom is happy and safe. I am very comfortable with her living arrangement. JULY 2020 UPDATE: My Mom passed away this week at her home in Brookdale Tanque Verde. The entire staff at Brookdale made the journey for my Mom the best it could possibly be. As her health declined, the Executive Director discussed hospice with me and took the time to explain the details and options. The caregivers at Brookdale were absolutely amazing. I think we all know it's not an easy job and they treated my Mom with compassion throughout the process. Even though my Mom didn't talk much near the end, I know she loved the Brookdale caregivers and would always smile when she saw them. THANK YOU BROOKDALE for providing the best possible care for my Mom!
