Amedisys Home Health of Bluffton

My husband had knee replacement and the Home Health team was awesome ! The physical therapist and nurse were very attentive and personable. We actually looked forward to their visits. Michael , Jeremy , and Heather made this experience ( and knee replacement is no joke) bearable !if you need home health care , give Amedisys a call !

Amedisys of Bluffton has been a blessing for our family. Their staff is kind, patient and caring and for that we are grateful. They have taken the time, effort and energy to sit down with our family and discuss the plan of care for my mother in law as well as provided us with direction once she is released from their care. Our family would highly recommend contacting Amedisys for anyone that needs home health care.

First, let me say that the nurses that provided my care were excellent. The issue is with the administrative staff. Apparently they have plenty of business and have no interest in new referrals. I have been told on 3 occasions that my insurance would not cover their services, when I was assured by my insurance they would cover the services. I had to make numerous calls to receive services. Also they say they don't have referrals when the referrals have been submitted. Long waiting times for appointments if you can get them approved. Nurses are great, administrators are terrible.

Amedisys of BLUFFTON helped my mother after her hospitalization. They prepared her for her return to her assisted living/independent living home. They are truly a caring and professional group of care givers. We were kept up to date on her progress and all questions answered. We highly recommend this organization. If needed in the future, I would definitely call Amedisys of Bluffton.

This was my 16th attempt at PT. All of my other attempts had failed miserably. I now know it's because they were too aggressive & generically treated my problem rather than treating me. My first Amedisys encounter was with Ferdy & he did an amazing job evaluating me. All of me not just the target area. He offered me insight, suggestions, & "out of the box" ideas on how to improve my situation. He gave me hope which I hadn't had in a very long time. My one on one therapist was Judy. She too quickly realized that traditional physical therapy would only hurt me. She had gone to a professional physical therapy conference where the presenter passed out exercises designed for people just like me. Judy brought that information from home & we started the work. It helped. I mean it really did. I was shocked, thrilled, and so happy. I can honestly say that if I, or anyone in my family, ever needs physical therapy again this will be the only company I call.
