I couldn’t find an Elara Hospice platform to leave this review so I’m posting my Elara Hospice experience here. I cannot thank Elara Caring Hospice enough for the extraordinary care they provided to my grandpa over the almost year he was on hospice services. My grandpa had dementia, and as his condition gradually worsened, the team’s unwavering compassion and expertise made a world of difference. The nurses and staff were incredibly patient, not only in managing his physical care but in understanding the emotional and psychological challenges of dementia. They took the time to truly get to know him, adjusting care to keep him as comfortable and calm as possible and educating us as his caregivers how to best meet his needs. Their support was invaluable to our family, offering guidance, comfort, and a steady presence during a difficult and emotional time. The peace of mind they gave us, knowing he was being treated with such dignity, was beyond measure. I highly recommend Elara Caring Hospice to anyone in need of compassionate, knowledgeable care for a loved one facing the end-stages of their disease

I was so disappointed in the hospice assistance we had with our mom. They seemed short staff and the night she passed even the funeral home director that came said that was not the “normal”. I will say they had a lady who gave personal care that was wonderful. The nurse Kayla from Waukomis was also Amazing! If only she had been on call that finally night. I would never refer or use the company again.

All they care about is money. They will schedule an insane amount of visits to bill Medicare but the nurses won't stay for more than a few minutes. Their service will blow up your phone with their automated messages telling you to call if there is a problem but when you do the office will tell you to go the ER so they can keep you on services. Scam.

They allowed my mother to suffer till last breath. Sent me messages saying they are sorry she's suffering. This is not hospice care. Your death certificate is agreed upon. No meds just excuses. Worst hospice experience. To allow suffering as they did should be a crime. It's inhumane
