Our beautiful residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) is in search of experienced, well balanced and compassionate Caregivers who understand the importance of meeting the needs of seniors while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for committed individuals who have excellent communication skills and are able to problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our residents, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts available. Available Shifts: NOC Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am - Thursday - Sunday Weekend Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Sat & Sunday) CAREGIVER JOB BENEFITS: Earn $15 - $18 per hour! 90 Day Bonus raise $1.00/hr (subject to performance evaluation) Paid training and ongoing training -Meals Create a lasting bond and make a difference in our residents life CAREGIVER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (included but not limited to) -Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, mobility, personal hygiene, incontinent care. (ADL) -Meal Prep. -Light Housekeeping and laundry. -Monitor patient medications and update health charts, including assistance and reminders to take medications. -Maintain open communication between families and health care professionals regarding clients medical and emotional condition -Document and report any changes in clients health status. -Ensure highest client safety and well-being. -Promote resident well being through ongoing social and physical stimulation,(encouraging daily movement); spiritual, cultural and intellectual needs of each resident. -Assist and supervise to maintain resident safety at all time. CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS: -Pass a criminal background check, drug screening and physical exam -Have at least one year prior work experience in providing caregiving for the elderly. -Be willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed. -Have a current CPR/First Aid Training. -TB test -At least 18 years old. -Must attend required ongoing training each year as needed. -Have own personal transportation. -HCA, CNA Certificate a plus but not required -Basic computer skills -Empathy, compassion, dependability and kindness
