Our caregivers will assist clients with: *Transfers, ambulation, and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.) *Personal care, bathing assistance, and general personal hygiene *Toileting and incontinence-related duties *Planning and preparing meals *Providing medication reminders *Performing light housekeeping duties (keeping living area clean, doing laundry, etc.) *Running errands and providing incidental transportation for the client **We are especially looking for caregivers who are available for weekend day shifts; all applicants are welcome, but we have a need for weekend day shifts in particular** Job requirements include: *Minimum of 1 year's caregiving experience working with the elderly and/or patients who have chronic or acute conditions *Ability to legally work in the United States *Must provide a negative TB test dated w/in the past 2 years, or a positive TB test accompanied by a chest x-ray both dated w/in the past 90 days *Must be registered in the state of CA as a Home Care Aide (we will assist with this process if needed) *Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect *Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly at an average adult level *Ability to problem solve quickly with good decision-making skills What we offer: *Competitive Wages *Flexible Scheduling (FT or PT, 4–12-hour shifts, you pick your days/times) *Personalized care plans and client matching to suit your skills and preferences *Paid Sick Leave *Health Insurance (for eligible employees) *401(k) *Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit *Continuing Education *Mileage Reimbursement *Referral Bonuses If you are passionate about helping others and are looking for a rewarding career working with seniors, we want you!
