Caregiver Job Description
The primary purpose of the Individual Support Worker for Pineland’s Community Housing program is to support individuals diagnosed with an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability and/or Co-occurring Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorder in living a meaningful and inclusive live in the community focusing on areas of Holistic Health, Safety, Rights, Choice, Community Integration, Self-Advocacy and Achieving Results.
One year experience providing social or direct care services to individuals diagnosed with an Intellectual/Developmental Disability, Mental Health Disorder, and/or Substance Use Disorder in a human service setting OR an Associate degree in a related field OR One year experience at the lower level or position equivalent (SSS010), Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License.
