Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Hiring for a Temporary Resident Manager/ Caregiver position for a level 2 Adult Care Home, with 5 senior residents. We are searching for a friendly non-smoking female caregiver that is reliable, mature, professional, detail oriented and is able to multi-task. The candidate needs to be available for overnight sleep shifts for 5 days and have the ability to lift at least 40lbs for a transfer assist. It's preferred that the potential candidate has experience working in a group home or AFH setting. The coverage is needed from October 16th-November 15th with most weekends off. The home runs from 7am-7pm (12hr work shift) After the 12hr work shift is completed the candidate is on the premises in the event of an emergency. Job duties include: Assistance in ADL's, minimal transfer assist, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, engaging in social interaction with residents. The potential candidate needs to pass a criminal background check, 21+ yrs old, obtain an Adult CPR/First Aid card, have 2+yrs caregiving experience, speak/understand English, non-smoking.
