Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

We're ALWAYS looking for experienced, compassionate, dependable, and quality caregivers for ALL SHIFTS (Monday - Sunday) live-ins's included! Applicants must have current CNA or HHA State Certificate-CPR/First Aid Certification, TB, Clearance, and verifiable references.
Caregivers duties commonly include, but are not limited to:
* Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
* Companionship and conversational engagement with clients
* Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
* Medication and appointment reminders
* Assistance with grooming and bathing
* Assistance with toileting and incontinence care
* Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
Minimum Qualifications:
* Compassionate, detail oriented, and driven to make a difference in peoples lives
* 2+ years of experience caring for seniors or rehab patients
* CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA both requires up to date certificates.
* A minimum of 5 recent references (2 personal and 3 professional)
* A valid driver's license and driving record
* Pass a criminal background record check
* Basic communication skills is a must
* TB Clearance (WA Requires this yearly)*
* CPR & First Aid (WA Requires this yearly)*
A typical caregiver job description may include:
* Meal preparation and cooking
* Conversation and companionship
* Light housekeeping
* Transportation to and from doctors’ appointments (or arranging telemedicine appointments)
* Running errands (or arranging grocery delivery)
* Helping with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
* Reminding the client to take their medication on time
* Helping with feeding and other everyday tasks
* Tracking your client’s condition and reporting changes to your supervisor
* Providing live-in or overnight care (shift differential provided)
* Assisting with dementia or Alzheimer’s care
* Offering respite care to relieve family caregivers
