We look forward to welcoming you to BrightStar Care. We are hiring full- and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality in-home care to our clients. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients you serve. If you are a Certified Nursing Assistant who is passionate about helping others and enjoys providing care in a home setting, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: . Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary . Provide care according to the patient’s plan of care and assist with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, linen changes, and light housekeeping . As a CNA, provide respectful and professional assistance while following the client's established plan of care . The Certified Nursing Assistant will communicate changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate nursing supervisor Requirements: . A current, valid state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and in good standing . High school diploma or GED . Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray . Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred . Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile preferred . Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
