Provide personal care, homemaking, & companionship services

Job Functions: Personal Care: Perform care activities contained in a written plan of care/task agreement by a health professional employee of the home health agency. Activities will include but are not limited to: • Bathing & Grooming: Help the client in and out of the bathtub or shower and be available to assist as needed. Perform bed baths to immobile clients. Assist with shaving, oral care, hair grooming, skin care and nail care. • Dressing: Help clients put on and remove clothing if they require assistance with this task. • Eating: Help with meal preparation and feeding of clients who need assistance in this area. Medication Reminders: Remind client it is time to take medication as prescribed. Assistance with any medication is strictly prohibited, you may remind only. Other Duties: Light housekeeping/laundry and companionship as needed. Be willing to escort clients to the doctor, shopping, recreational outings or other personal appointments as requested by client.
